Told you guys the Alice spam wasn't over. :/

How this picture came about . . . well, I don't really remember anymore. I was in class some time a month ago, bored with nothing to do (and obviously, I wasn't paying attention to class. Either that, or it was free period >.> ). I wanted to draw something really badly that time. Then I started thinking about American McGee's Alice, then a friend who played said game, then a being-planned NTWF version of the musical Wicked, then The Wizard of Oz, then this TVTrope, then the Queen of Hearts . . .

. . . Then I figured, 'Hey! Methinks the Queen of Hearts in American McGee's Alice would say something like "I'll get you my pretty, and your little cat too!" Man, that would be so awesome! I should REALLY draw that! '

So, yeah. Here we go. Alice McGee being haunted by the Red Queen of Hearts. Not the most original idea ever, but meh. :/

As you Alice fans noticed, the Queen of Hearts is not the Queen of Hearts in the game. That's because around that time, I didn't have much clue on what American McGee!Queen of Hearts looked like. All I had was a daft idea. (And until now, I have a less-daft-but-still-pretty-daft idea on what she looks like. I know however that she's red and has tentacles. :/) So, I did something desperate - I designed my own version of the Queen of Hearts, with the main inspiration of the dress design coming from the Disney version. (Because. T_T) Please do tell me what you think about the Queen and her outfit design. Oh, and her hand is really supposed to be transparent and hovering over Alice's shoulder. If you've played the game yourself (or did what I did and watched some stuff on YouTube >.> ), there'd be a meaning behind that. It's now your job to find it. :3

Speaking of the Disney version, we now have a CD of it! :3 We'll go watch sometime, then I'll tell you what I think about it. :3
